Bec ran to her third consecutive New York City Triathlon title yesterday, closing with a 36:28 10k. Laurel was 8th after serving a staggering penalty on the bike.

We would like to congratulate everyone who raced yesterday, podium finishers and first-timers alike-- this is no easy race!

Unfortunately, with any demanding physical activity there are risks. Some of our fellow competitors sadly didn't fare so well. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the families of Michael Kudryk and Amy Martich who suffered a heart attacks during the swim. And, we wish Jasmine a speedy recovery after her bike crash.
